Pete Siers and The Kerrytown Stompers are coming back to the House and this time, you won’t have to keep to your seat! In this new “Dance Hall Nights” series at KCH, music lovers can listen in their seats in the main hall or go and dance in the side hall (which will be cleared and ready for dancing) if the spirit moves them!
Holding traditional jazz deep in their hearts, these musicians have a deep passion for the early formation of jazz in all of its aspects: culture, structure, improvisation, and virtuosity. Standing on the shoulders of his gracious mentors, Pete is a proud recipient of the tutelage of fallen-but-not-forgotten greats such as Hazen Schumacher, James Dapogny, and Paul Klinger. Sparks will be flying as these dynamic musicians give you a taste of American history through music. Get ready for some toe-tappin’, swingin’ jazz!
